Editor’s Note: Only a few Speed-X keys were given serial numbers (all that were were built during the Les Logan area after the company began putting the Les Logan nameplate on them). The photo images and descriptions below are my attempt to catalog the ones I own.
LES LOGAN SPEED-X MODEL 500. This key arrived on Monday, July 18, 2011, and was purchased on eBay a week or so earlier. The key is in very good condtion, though the chrome plating on the T-Bar pivot frame is checked and crazed (this isn’t uncommon since the pivot frame is made of some sort of cheap pot metal). I haven’t played the key or cleaned it, but it is complete and in otherwise very nice shape. This photo doesn’t do it justice; I’ll replace it with better ones later. Added July 19, 2011.
